So I guess I should post something seen as Person believes this is now some kind of competition. It's not its just me proving to you that I'm way more interesting.
I really didn't know what direction to take this blog did I want to be really thoughtful and inspiring, did I want to review and recommend things, did I want to write about people and things that happen. And then I remembered I'm doing this in spite of person.
Anyway I decided to write about Music. Seen as music is so diverse and creative. And today I feel creative. As Bob Marley said "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain". I like to think I don't listen to music because its in the charts but I listen because it means something or reflects the mood I'm in. Recently I've been listening to The Smiths and The Villagers. I like them because... well...they're different. They don't follow the norm.
But then again I cant help listening to a bit of Grease every now and then again, I mean who doesn't like dancing around the kitchen singing "You're the one that I want, oo oo oo". But I do really detest the people who will only like a song because of who sings it. Because not every song they sing is going to be brilliant yet most teenage girls will go crazy over whatever song their favourite boy band brings out. It makes me cringe to see them going mental because they got a "retweet" or one of the members waved at them at a concert. No they did not he waved in your direction. He see's thousands of you everyday all of you the same, all of you screaming all of you crying. It makes me ashamed to call myself a teenage girl.
Rant over I think? Just to re iterate I like music. And don't get me wrong some of the "boy bands" do bring out some catchy crap and I will sing along in the car. But there is so much music out there that means a whole lot more and is undiscovered. And the best thing about it being undiscovered is that song is still yours and you know if you put it on that millions of other girls aren't doing so with the same song. But because they have their catchy crap.
